FAQs

Got questions? We've got answers...

What's the best way to care for my products?

  • Candles need love too! To take good care of them, trim the wick to 1/4” before every burn sesh and allow the candle to burn for 3-4 hour intervals, or until a full melt pool has formed. This will give you a clean and even burn every time.
  • To keep your reed diffusers smelling their best, keep them out of direct contact with sunlight, heat and humidity, and flip the reeds weekly, or when the fragrance becomes faint.
  • Our other products care for themselves, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tell them you love them every once in a while.

What kind of ingredients do you use?

  • All of our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced to create safe, sustainable products that are vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, and never tested on animals.

  • Our candles are made with 100% domestically-grown coconut & soy wax blend, cotton wicks, and a mix of high quality fragrance and pure essential oils that consist of natural and man-made materials.

How strong are your scents?

  • Our products are designed to elevate - not overpower - your everyday. Because of this, their scent throw may be more intimate than other products on the market. However, you might find some scents to be a little stronger than others.

Can your jars & tins be recycled?

  • Absolutely! They can also be repurposed in tons of different ways. Be creative :) We love using our vessels as planters, vases, & storage.

PRO TIP: If you're using your jar as a planter, add some small rocks or sand to the bottom before adding soil. If you're using a tin, you can use a drill to carefully create a drainage hole.

How do I clean out my candle jar?

    OVEN METHOD:
Pop your candle jar in the oven at its lowest setting until any remaining wax melts. Carefully remove the jar from the oven to pour the wax into the trash, pop out the wick holder using a spoon or fork, and wipe the insides of the jar clean with a cloth. Hand wash, rinse, and dry.

FREEZER METHOD - *our favorite method cause you can use that last little bit of wax...:
Once the wax has cooled and hardened, place your candle into the freezer until the remaining wax freezes (about 10-15 mins or so). Then carefully chip it out using a spoon - but don't toss them out yet. *Here's the cool part... you can melt the remaining chunks in you wax melter until the scent finally dissipates. Good to the last drop!

The wick holder should pop out pretty easily, too. Use a cloth to wipe the insides of the jar clean, hand wash, rinse, and dry.
