Vintage *Brewery Tavern* Glass Ashtray
(aka: The “Then & Now” Burner)

Originally living its best life at the Brewery Tavern - complete with bold retro script, old-school phone exchange (“Market 7-9000”), and a full Philadelphia address - this ashtray carries that unmistakable mid-century barroom charm. You can practically hear the clink of glasses and low hum of conversation baked right into the glass.
But here’s where it gets good…
That same location? It’s now home to a Mediterranean restaurant called Emmett. Different menu, same walls, whole new vibe - but this piece remembers everything.
The ashtray itself is classic: thick, clear glass with warm golden accents that catch the light just right. The typography alone is worth the price of admission - bold, curvy, and unapologetically vintage.
Condition is excellent - clean, glossy, no chips or cracks. The lettering is still crisp, like it’s been waiting patiently for its next chapter... reborn as a seriously cool incense cone burner. Deep center well, sturdy rests, and just enough history to make your space feel a little more… lived in.
