HOW TO USE
This is what we recommend:
Soooo maybe you're not used to seeing little pieces of wood used as wicks, but, despite what you might think, they're super easy to use. They just take a little more effort. Not much. Just a little bit. Promise.
- For wooden wicks to burn properly, they only need to be about 1/8" - 1/4" high. Your candle should be cut to the right height to start (we try). You are good to go!
- AFTER the first burn (& for the life of the candle) you gotta knock off the charred bits of the wick BEFORE lighting it the next time. Please remember - you'll have to do this every time you light the candle again. It's not hard work. You can do this. OMG YOU CAN DO THIS! That's it!!
We have awesome wick trimmers to help you with this task so you don't get your hands dirty. Or if you like to live on the wild side, just snap the bits off with your fingies. BOOM!
SAFETY FIRST:
- If your flame is whipping around like a used car lot noodle, that's a problem. Chances are ya might have forgotten to trim the wick.
- DO NOT attempt to trim the wick whilst lit (that's just bananas). Blow it out. Snap of the charred bits. Light it up.
- For the best experience, burn for 2-4 hours at a time.
- Sit back and enjoy the "crack."
